Seafarers interested in giving their views on gender-specific safety issues are invited to join online focus group sessions as part of a new seafarers' safety campaign.
The campaign by the International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN) aims to raise awareness for all in maritime of the safety issues faced by women working at sea and how addressing those will benefit all seafarers.
Sign up to have your say at one of ISWAN's three focus group sessions for seafarers – one for those most likely to be directly affected by gender-specific safety issues onboard from Friday 12 April 2024 09:00-10:30 BST; another for seafarers who want to support crewmates affected by gender-specific safety issues on Tuesday 16 April 09:00-10:30 BST, and one for industry representatives on Tuesday 23 April 09:00-10:30 BST.
