Nautilus International members employed by AW Crewing (Guernsey) Limited serving on RV CEFAS Endeavour have voted to accept the company's 2026 pay and conditions offer.

The package delivers a 5.5% pay uplift backdated to 1 April 2026, plus company matching of additional employee pension contributions up to a maximum of 2% and an enhancement to sick pay entitlement from 13 weeks' full pay plus 13 weeks' half pay to 16 weeks' full pay and 10 weeks' half pay for all employees, except those on protected terms, who receive 26 weeks' full pay and 26 weeks' half pay.

Other changes include one day's leave accrued for all travel days, removal of the mandatory 10-day retention requirement, and a commitment from the company to continue working with Nautilus on study leave, ticket bonuses, loyalty packages and other reward and recognition initiatives.

Nautilus head of membership Derek Byrne welcomed the result.

'This is a positive outcome that delivers meaningful improvements across a range of pay and conditions issues that matter to our members,' he said. 'I would like to thank all members who took part in the consultation exercise. Their engagement ensured that we were able to conclude these negotiations with a package that reflects members' priorities and secures tangible improvements in terms and conditions.'
