About Sundeep Khera
Sundeep Khera is currently the Global Chief Underwriting Officer Marine Hull and Head of Marine Underwriting UK/Lloyds, based in London.
Prior to joining AXA in 2013 he has held various shipping operations, stowage planning, commercial and general management positions spanning over 6 years with a niche container liner and project cargo shipping company, based in Singapore and Hong Kong.
His sailing experience in Merchant Marine on commercial vessels trading worldwide spans over 13 years, and his last stint at sea was in command of VLCC as a Master. He has previously sailed on crude tankers, product tankers and bulk carriers with renowned ship owners gaining vast experience in handling various types of liquid, bulk and soft commodities.
Apart from his professional qualifications and experience, Sundeep holds an MBA degree from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
