Our Professional & Technical services ensure that standard of training, education, certification and watchkeeping, and potential issues such as fatigue; are regularly reviewed.

Nautilus International takes part in developments related to safety and training both at local and international level.

Currently, Professional and Technical is working around the clock to ensure the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) standards of safe manning  is sufficiently reviewed, and this has been of particular importance to members. The department aims to ensure that these standards deliver greater consistency and that they are properly policed.
