Council
Composed of serving officers, each elected to serve a four-year term, Nautilus International’s Council is the governing body responsible for progressing policy decisions made at the Union’s General Meeting.
Council meets several times a year to ensure that motions members vote for at the General Meeting are progressed within reasonable time. The governing body also serves as a Trustee for the Nautilus Welfare Fund, a registered charity administered by the Union.
Elections for placements in Council are held on a rolling basis, which means just about half the Council places come up for election every two years.
